• 8.72 listings per agent

2nd best city to be a real estate agent: East Hampton, New York (1,065 **available listings)

• $925,061 average listing price

• 9.8 listings per agent

Best city to be a real estate agent: Southampton, New York (1,070 **available listings)

• $1,257,988 average listing price

• 9.3 listings per agent

*Methodology: These findings are based on cities with over 500 available listings (**HomeFinder.com listing data as of June 2013). Based on HomeFinder.com site data, the average listing price in those cities is $338k and has an average of 3.7 listings per agent. The five best cities to be a real estate agent were based on cities that exceeded both on those figures.
